What a month!

I know I should have updated this blog a bit more often but things have been in a bit of a spin at the Ridley household over the past month or so. First of all I had to take a couple of trips to the vets. Jane is very nice but for some reason when Dad pulls up in the car park my legs lose all control and I become a quivering wreck. I had to have some kind of horrible jelly stuff put on my tummy, I know it was horrible because it didn't taste very nice! Jane looked at some screen and over the chattering of my teeth I could hear Dad say something about "booking me in" before Alf arrives...I am not sure who or what this "alf" is but I am getting a bad feeling.

Anyway Mrs R took me back to the vets and left me there...the indignity of it all and to make it worse they put needles in me and then...well to be truthful I can't really remember. I must have fallen asleep and when I woke up my teeth hurt, I had no hair on my tummy and it HURT! To make matters even worse they then put a plastic lampshade over my head. I was not having that, I looked really daft and I could hear the Lurcher laughing her stupid head off. So I put on my best "little lost puppy" look and moped around for a couple of hours and Mrs R fell for it and took it off....ha got the measure of these two!

Anyway I have to go now as Dad is taking me training but do come back soon as I will update my blog with a real horror story....!

I am so excited !

I am so excited...every month Dad tells his side of my training and what goes on in our house but now you will get it straight from the "dogs mouth"!
I have to say I am not feeling very happy at the moment, I keep hearing a new word in the house and I am not sure what it means..I am sure they are up too something as they keep talking about an alf...whatever that is!
Mum has decided it would be a good idea for me to fetch her slippers when she comes home...Great has she no idea how senstive my nose is, I don't see her sticking her nose into a smelly pair of old shoes, in fact her feet are as far away from her nose as can be! Really I don't mind and I do like to see her smiling like a Cheshire cat and it seems to make her happy.
Anyway I must get on as the sun is shining and the Lurcher is hogging the best spots so I will just go and pester her..........
